ppm just in….

pH 8.4
Nitrate 5
Ammonia <0.25
Nitrite 0

Another week another set of results, but these ones are slightly more interesting because at the moment we’re getting algae blooms on the side of the tank, we’ve a couple of really diddy snails and they seem to be enjoying it. (But not enough to stop it being a problem) We don’t like it tho, it makes everywhere look messy and watching the fish is less fun and harder :(
Did the first water change today in an effort to help clear it up. About 20l was changed, and of course we added the dechlorinator stuff as well. I persuaded Rach that the water shouldn’t be changed to start with but i’m a bit worried now that we waited too long and that the quality is suffering. It was interesting to see that the nitrate/nitrite levels aren’t that high tho, so good news there i suppose.
Everybody seemed to cope well with a weekend alone and are in good health, to my untrained eye at least.
